Crop PDF pages to remove margins

Trim white space and scanner borders with a visual crop box. Everything runs on your device — no upload, no account, no daily quota.

About this tool

Scanned pages often carry black edges, wide margins, or a strip of the next page. Cropping tightens the visible page area so the document reads cleanly and prints without wasted space.

This tool adjusts the page box on every page by the margins you set, with a live preview of the first page.

How to crop PDF

  1. 1 Add the PDF and adjust the four edge sliders.
  2. 2 Check the preview — the white overlays show what will be hidden.
  3. 3 Crop and download the new file.

Good to know

  • Cropping hides content outside the new page box; the data is still inside the file.
  • The same margins are applied to every page, which suits uniform scans.

Frequently asked questions

Does cropping delete the hidden content?

No. Cropping changes the visible page area. If you need content physically removed, treat the page as sensitive and use a proper redaction workflow instead.

Can I crop different pages differently?

Not in the current version. For mixed documents, split the file, crop each part, then merge them back.

Will cropping affect printing?

Printing follows the new page box in current viewers, so the cropped result prints without the trimmed area.
